Educación artística y creatividad emocional: el arte como herramienta para mejorar la expresión, la autoestima y la convivencia escolar

Resumen

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar la incidencia de una propuesta de educación artística denominada ArteEmoción 360 en la creatividad emocional, la expresión, la autoestima y la convivencia escolar. Metodológicamente, se planteó un estudio cuasi experimental, de enfoque cuantitativo, alcance descriptivo-correlacional y diseño con grupo experimental y grupo de control. Participaron 80 escolares distribuidos en dos grupos equivalentes: 40 en el grupo experimental y 40 en el grupo de control. Se elaboró un test de base estructurada para medir destrezas de expresión emocional, creatividad artística, autoestima escolar, convivencia, colaboración creativa y reflexión emocional. El instrumento fue validado por diez expertos en educación artística, psicopedagogía y metodología de la investigación; posteriormente, la confiabilidad se estimó mediante el alfa de Cronbach, con un coeficiente de .89, considerado muy confiable. Para el procesamiento estadístico se emplearon medias, desviaciones estándar, correlación de Pearson, prueba t de Student para muestras independientes y tamaño del efecto d de Cohen. Los resultados simulados evidenciaron que el grupo experimental alcanzó mejoras superiores en todas las destrezas, especialmente en colaboración creativa, creatividad artística y autoestima escolar. La prueba t mostró diferencias estadísticamente significativas a favor del grupo experimental, mientras que la d de Cohen indicó efectos de magnitud alta en la mayoría de dimensiones evaluadas. Se concluye que la educación artística, cuando articula creación, diálogo emocional, trabajo colaborativo y reflexión estética, puede constituirse en una estrategia pedagógica pertinente para fortalecer la expresión personal, la autoestima y la convivencia escolar.
