Moda sostenible y tecnologías emergentes: el futuro de los materiales ecológicos

Resumen

El objetivo de la investigación fue determinar el efecto de una propuesta formativa y tecnológica denominada EcoTextil-AR en el fortalecimiento de destrezas para seleccionar, evaluar y comunicar materiales ecológicos en iniciativas de moda sostenible. La metodología correspondió a un estudio cuasi experimental, de enfoque correlacional descriptivo, con grupo de control y grupo experimental, integrado por 70 participantes vinculados a emprendimientos y procesos formativos del sector textil. Se aplicó un test de base estructurada antes y después de la intervención; su contenido fue validado por diez expertos y la confiabilidad alcanzó un alfa de Cronbach de 0.89, considerado muy confiable. Para el análisis se calcularon estadísticos descriptivos, correlación de Pearson, prueba t de Student para muestras independientes y d de Cohen. Los resultados evidenciaron que el grupo experimental obtuvo mejores desempeños en identificación del impacto ambiental de fibras, selección técnica de materiales ecológicos, trazabilidad de ciclo de vida, diseño circular, comunicación ética e integración de tecnologías emergentes. La prueba t mostró diferencias significativas a favor del grupo experimental, con valores p inferiores a 0.001, mientras que los tamaños del efecto fueron grandes en las dimensiones evaluadas. Se concluye que la integración de realidad aumentada, inteligencia artificial y trazabilidad digital puede mejorar la toma de decisiones sobre materiales sostenibles cuando se articula con criterios científicos, ambientales y sociales. La contribución del estudio radica en proponer un modelo aplicable a la formación y gestión textil responsable, especialmente en contextos donde la sostenibilidad requiere pasar del discurso a evidencias verificables.
